Jan EvansRegistered Dental Hygienist
I am a native Texan who grew up in South Austin. I fell in love with dentistry as a young girl being an orthodontic patient for 4 years myself. I was the patient always asking for a mirror to watch what they were doing to my teeth. At the end of my treatment, my orthodontist asked me 'Would you like a job?'.
I worked for him my junior and senior year of high school through a program called 'Health Occupations'. I graduated from Crockett High School with a Honor Society Scholarship. I attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated from the dental hygiene program with an outstanding achievement award as top of my class.
I joined the Adair Dental family in 2000, when they expanded to their new office. We have a wonderful team of experienced dental health professionals who support each other and love our patients. I take great pride in providing my patients with individualized dental care in all phases of life. From happy visits to graduation, I strive for decay free checkups with each of my patients. I love helping my patients learn how a healthy mouth is essential to good overall health.
I married my high school sweetheart and we have had an incredible life together. We have enjoyed camping, hiking, and four-wheeling in the mountains of Colorado, snorkeling in the Yucatan, exploring Alaska, kayaking in Texas and Idaho, and mountain biking whenever we can. Our newest adventure is riding our BMW motorcycle through the Hill Country. I personally love practicing yoga, gourmet cooking, and xeroscaping my yard for wildlife.
Jerisa Love-KrauseRegistered Dental Hygienist
I spent my childhood in Albuquerque, New Mexico before moving to Midland, Texas in high school. I received my Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Amarillo College in 1988, graduating with honors and the award of top clinician in my class. I moved to Austin immediately after graduation, where I met my husband Kraig. We have been blessed with two great kids, Kaitlin and Koby, and have LOVED watching them grow up in Dripping Springs, having lived here since 1999.
The Adair Dental family welcomed me in 2000, and it has been a true pleasure to be part of such a quality practice. I feel so lucky to have found a profession that I love, and strive to share my experience and knowledge with all my patients. I am a compassionate, thorough, and patient-focused hygienist with over 30 years of successful practice. I love using my passion for health to help my patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile, which contributes to overall well–being. I am known for my gentle touch and my ability to connect with people, whether they are 3 or 103!
In my free time I love to read, refinish/repurpose furniture, and can be found at every market day/flea market around the area.
